The American Red Cross offers a number of courses in which the objective is to teach people to swim and to be safe in, on and around the water. Our Learn-to-Swim programs are the most comprehensive and effective programs of their kind available anywhere. The newly revised American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program for 2009 is now available! Based on feedback from industry experts, the program has been updated to make it more effective and easier to teach. The American Red Cross Silicon Valley Chapter partners with multiple organizations to provide aquatics training throughout Silicon Valley! These authorized facilities are guaranteed to offer classes that adhere to our guidelines and certification standards.
